Synchronizing PubWorks with Maps

Step 1.  New Assets are added to the SDE using the Collector App (Not Shown).
Step 2.  Open PubWorks and Login using your PubWorks Login Name and Password (not pictured).
Step 3.  To Launch the MapViewer Click System>Select GIS MapViewer…

Step 4.  Within the Viewer the new assets will be visible on the map but the records need to added to PubWorks using the PubWorks GIS Data Manager

Step 5.  To open the PubWorks GIS Data Manager. Click File and Select Data Manager.

Step 6.  You will be presented with the PubWorks GIS Data Manager Click on the List View tab.

Step 7.  Double click on the Record that you would like to Synchronize (For this example we will select Sign).

Step 8.  On the General Information Tab Click on the “Synchronize Layer: XXXX” Button.

Step 9.  Wait for the progress bar below the “Synchronize Layer:XXXX” button to completely go across the bottom of the Synchronize Layer: XXXX button.

Step 10.  Once complete the status bar will disapear and the screen will look like the shot below

Step 11.  The PubWorks Records have now been synced with the GIS Records.
