Employee/Equipment/Material Rate Override
An Easy Solution!
Question
A PubWorks user is having an issue: in Crew Activities she is unable to edit the material unit cost. Her permissions have been checked, and the check boxes for Materials Add/Modify/Delete, View and Report are all checked. She does have limits on her overall access, and she is only in PubWorks every couple of months, so it’s unknown when this “started.”
Answer
See if the following box is checked under User Powers.
- Click the System menu, then User Powers
- Click the Activities tab, then the Secondary tab.
- In the Misc/Other group, be sure the Emp/Eqp/Mat Rate Override check box is checked.
When this box is checked, the user will be able to edit Employee, Equipment and Material rates for all Activity records.
